The Norwegian Space Centre together with Tromsø Centre for Remote Technology will host the 2nd Nordic Remote Sensing Days in Tromsø, Norway, 30 and 31 August 2011

The themes for the conference are:

Cryosphere - Arctic Oceans – Forests

Basis for a Nordic cooperation within Earth Observation

The conference invites papers presenting original work within the remote sensing of cryosphere, arctic ocean and forest. The themes will be elaborated further, both in the planning process and in the Programme Committee. All submission will be electronically handled. Submission instructions will be

The 34th International Symposium for Remote Sensing of the Environment (ISRSE) to be held in Sydney, 10-15 April 2011 http://www.isrse34.org.

before preparing your abstract. During the abstract submission please select "Coastal and Marine resources" as the Abstract Theme/Category

The Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS) is an international initiative that provides decision-support tools and operational access to Earth observation data and geospatial content, serving a wide variety of users. GEOSS will proactively link together existing and planned observation systems around the world and support the development of new systems where gaps currently exist, promoting also common technical standards in a manner that data from thousands of different instruments can be combined into coherent data sets.

The XII meeting of Finnish space researchers FinCOSPAR 2009 will take place on 3-5.9.2009 at Rokua Spa about 80 km from Oulu towards Kajaani.
The meeting is organized by the Department of Physical Sciences, University of Oulu together with the Finnish National COSPAR committee.
